1. Getting Started

This chapter walks you through signing up, signing in, and creating your first spreadsheet in X-Sheets.

1.1 Creating an Account

  1. Open X-Sheets on your device (web browser, mobile app, or desktop app).
  2. On the sign-in screen, tap Sign Up.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Submit the form. You will receive a verification email.
  5. Open the email and click the verification link to activate your account.
  6. Complete account setup by setting your password.

1.2 Signing In

  1. Open X-Sheets.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. Tap Sign In.

Saved credentials: If you have previously signed in, X-Sheets may remember your credentials. You will see a welcome-back message with your email. Tap “Not You?” to switch to a different account.

Forgot your password? Tap Forgot Password on the sign-in screen, enter your email, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox.

1.3 Your First Spreadsheet

After signing in for the first time, Click on the + icon to create your first spreadsheet:

  1. A dialog appears offering you to Create New Spreadsheet.
  2. Enter a Name for your spreadsheet (required).
  3. Optionally add a Description.
  4. Tap Create.

Go to Data Management menu, click on the + icon and create an empty sheet or  Use the CSV import to bring in existing data (see Import).

You can now:

  • Add columns — Right-click a column header and choose Add Column.
  • Enter data — Click any cell to start typing.

Exit Data Management. A view has been added to the main screen to show/edit your data.

Use View management menu to modify this view.
